Welcome to LegisLink:

Advocacy Information for the United Network of US Oncology

We are proud to share our newly updated LegisLink Action Center offering up-to-date information pertaining to key policy issues at the state and federal levels of government that may affect the way you are able to deliver cancer care.

In the wake of our nation's passage of historic, comprehensive health care reform legislation, physicians, caregivers, advocates and patients alike are now anticipating how these policy changes will translate into the actual provision of cancer care.  The updated LegisLink Action Center will offer the information you need not only to answer questions you or others might have, but also how to get engaged politically if you have concerns about these changes or their impact on quality cancer care.

As many of these reform provisions are yet to be implemented, it is critical to remain informed and engaged on the issues that could impact community-based cancer treatment and patients' access to quality care.  US Oncology's dedicated Government Relations team will keep our network members updated on pertinent legislative and regulatory developments, as well as continue to educate officials at all levels and promote responsible policies for the advancement of quality cancer care.

Support The Prompt Pay Discount Fix

The prompt pay discount legislation (HR 1392 / S 1221) would correct a problem that threatens the efficient distribution of cancer drugs to your local facility. This bill rectifies the disparity between the actual physician costs for cancer care drugs with the rates of reimbursement through the Medicare program.
